: BIOGRAPHY

From school friends coming together through their love of music, to playing in front of thousands at festivals across Europe, Seed To Tree began like many bands over the years. The band knew early on that they were onto a good thing and within a year had released their debut EP with the first single ‘Broken Down’ spending 16 weeks in the national charts.

The band moved away from the acoustic Folk sound of their debut EP and began to record their more mature indie Folk debut album 'Wandering' at La Chapelle Studios in Belgium, which has hosted the likes of Marvin Gaye and The Gotan Project over the years.

Following the recording, the band released the album to their biggest headline show in front 1000 fans which was a far cry from those early shows in the pub. Since then the band have toured Europe playing many festivals along the way including Reeperbahn and Jardin du Michel.

Their sound which ranges from sweeping Folk melodies that flirt along the lines of Indie Pop to meandering atmospheric shoegaze has seen them get support slots for Beirut, Villagers, The Temper Trap, and Kodaline to name just a few.

Having found local success, the band have started making waves in Germany where they have their distribution deal through Believe Digital which has helped them reach over 1 million plays on Spotify alone. After a short break Seed to Tree made their comeback with an 'Unconcerned EP', released on 2017.
