An Evening with Francesco Tristano

Yesterday evening, France Musique, the national public radio of France, paid tribute to the exponential career of Francesco Tristano with an exclusive broadcast of the young musician’s discography.

In total, the broadcast lasted 9 hours and included works by Bach, Luciano Berio, Maurice Ravel, Girolamo Frescobaldi and John Cage to name only a few.

Alongside these composers, other composers’ pieces that Tristano recorded were aired, as well as his own pieces, many of which crossover and merge with an unexpected genre that he is known for, Electro.
