Award-winning composer, Albena Petrovic released a brand new album through German label Solo Musica recently. This latest release, titled “The Voyager”, is Petrovic’s first collection of vocal works and was inspired by moments of contemplation and walks through Luxembourg’s old town - The Grund”. Luxembourg pianist Romain Nosbaum interprets each piece beautifully and Véronique Nosbaum can be heard lending her voice to each of the 13 works.

Petrovic has had a remarkable career so far. She published her first original work at only fourteen years old, which was followed by a plethora of concerts and an interlude of musical experimentation, learning and discovery. Upon graduating from the National Academy of music in Sofia, Bulgaria, Petrovic moved to Luxembourg where she perfected her skills in contemporary music, analysis and computer music. In 2013 she received the order of merit of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. Her debut album, released in 2016 and subsequent tour was an international success and her works are currently represented by multiple publishers. See a full list of her achievements here.
