Zooming: Luxembourg, music exchange project between Luxembourg and Poland

Highlight Sepia Ensemble

music:LX in cooperation with SONORA - a Polish organisation promoting cultural events in Poland and internationally - and the Sepia Ensemble, a Contemporary Music Ensemble based in Poznan (Poland), has worked on a music exchange project between Luxembourg and Poland. The first part of the project foresees a concert at the Academy of Music in Poznan on the 13th of December. The musicians of the ensemble will exclusively perform Luxembourgish contemporary music.

The concert is co-organised by the Poznan Music Academy and the Voivodship of Wielkopolska Region.

A member of the F.L.A.C. (Luxembourg Federation of Authors and Composers) will be present at the concert to introduce the Luxembourgish Contemporary Music Scene.

For the second part of the project the Sepia Ensemble will be in Luxembourg on the 28th of February 2016 to perform a programme combining Luxembourgish and Polish contemporary music. The concert, organised by "Les Concerts du Foyer Européen” in cooperation with the Forum International de Composition “Artistes en herbe”, will take place at the Foyer Européen (address 12, Rue Heine Luxembourg) at 5 pm.

The concert in Luxembourg is supported by the Embassy of Poland in Luxembourg.
