Luxembourg on its way to Rotterdam!

29 juin 2016

The summer festival season has finally arrived and Luxembourgish artists Saxitude and Pascal Schumacher are more than ready to make the most of it.

In early July, Saxitude will be part of the North Sea Round Town festival in Rotterdam, playing three concerts on July the 2nd. The first concert will take place at 1:00PM in the Binnenwegplein Street, the second at 2:00PM at De Koopgoot in the Beurstraverse street and the last one at 3:45PM on the Centraal Station Podium.

All of the above will be completely free since the purpose of the North Sea Round Town festival is to add a popular branch of the North Sea Jazz festival, with surprise gigs taking place all over the city of Rotterdam: in the streets and other unexpected places like metro stations.

The Grand Finale of this Dutch incursion will take place with vibraphonist Pascal Schumacher’s already sold out concert as part of the North Sea Jazz Festival on July 10th. He will play songs from his latest project ‘Left Tokyo Right’ on the Yenisei stage at 10:00PM with his quartet but also with trumpeter Verneri Pohjola and saxophonist Sylvain Rifflet
