Challenging new projects for Francesco Tristano

After a more than busy October, with many concerts and collaborations with prestigious orchestras like Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Kölner Kammerorchester or Deutsches Kammerorchester among others, Francesco Tristano keeps on challenging himself.

On November 19th, the Luxembourgish pianist will be performing with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Southbank Centre in London. Tristano will play his own largely improvised piano concerto, Island Nation, under the baton of Keith Lockhart, in a concert where he will also play Johann Sebastian Bach’s Harpsichord Concerto in D minor, BWV.1052

Going on with his research of new experiences, on December 13th, he, with the Quatuor Modigliani, will be performing a thrilling programme called Vivaldi 2.0, that combines Russian repertoire by Shostakovich & Schnittke with Baroque masterpieces by Vivaldi, at the Arsenal in Metz (FR).

The concert is part of the Chamber Music concert series of this venue, where Francesco Tristano is artist in residence.
