Cleveland & ROME: 2 acts from Luxembourg at Eurosonic 2017!
Luxembourg will be well represented during the next edition of the Dutch festival and conference Eurosonic Noorderslag, taking place in Groningen, Netherlands, from January 11th to 14th.
On Friday, January 13th Dark Folk messiah ROME will finally make it to the Eurosonic for a service at the USVA Theatre at 23.00. Last year, the band got held up on the way because of an accident induced by a large amount of snow. The evening will then continue with Techno ambassador and John Talabot’s protégé Cleveland at the Simplon Up, for a set starting at 00.50. The Luxembourgish sound digger was selected by radio 100.7 to play during the festival as part of the EBU (European Broadcasting Union).
Eurosonic Noorderslag is one of the biggest annual showcase festival and convention in Europe. It is spread all over the city of Groningen and makes the most of every venue; rather it is for showcases as well as for conferences. The last edition drew over 42 000 festivalgoers, with more than 4000 international delegates, making it a meeting place with high stakes for innovative European artists.
