Winner of the Kobe International Flute Competition, Hélène Boulègue is a recording artist for the label Naxos Deutschland. Her debut album featuring works of André Jolivet was acclaimed by critics. Hélène has played as a soloist with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, the Tokyo Symphony Chamber Orchestra and the Kobe City Chamber Orchestra. She gave numerous recitals in Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France and Japan, and will be playing in Taiwan and the US in the near future.
Hélène has been a member of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg since she was nineteen, and has been invited to play with prestigious orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Rotterdam Philharmonic or the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.

: BIOGRAPHY
Winner of the Kobe International Flute Competition, second prize of the Prague Spring International Competition, Hélène is a recording artist for the label Naxos Deutschland. Her debut album, the first volume of the complete flute works of French composer André Jolivet, was released last February, and is already acclaimed by critics. It was distinguished, amongst others, with the Supersonic Award in the magazine Pizzicato. This season has seen Hélène Boulègue giving recitals in Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Japan, where she also played with the Kobe Chamber City Orchestra. She will be playing Verhey’s concerto in D major in the US this summer, and will be teaching a course in Portugal.
In the past seasons, Hélène played as a soloist with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg and the Tokyo Symphony Chamber Orchestra, had her first recital tour in Japan, was broadcast for the first time on France Musique, and played in the prestigious festival Radio France Occitanie.
Having studied under renowned masters of the French School of Flute (Pierre-Yves Artaud, Florence Souchard-Delépine, Julien Beaudiment), completed her Bachelor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris and her Master at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe with Renate Greiss-Armin, Hélène Boulègue is a flutist born from numerous influences. She has been playing at the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg since she was nineteen and also played with various world-famous orchestras such as the Berliner Phikharmoniker, the Rotterdam Philharmonic, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe or the SWR Symphonieorchester. Moreover, she is a firm believer in musical mediation, and she not only takes part in workshops aimed at young audiences, but also creates new concepts of participative concerts for children.
When she packs her flute away at the end of the day, Hélène likes spending time on badminton courts or learning Japanese.
