Since 2009, Jitz Jeitz has his own working 4tet – Jitz Jeitz 4tet, with Claude Schaus (p), John Schlammes (b) and Mich Mootz (dr). Repertoire: mostly originals but also unusual standards, among them also jazzy adaptations of pop songs and classical music, even Wagner and Bruckner. The style moves between melodic bopping and binary modern, often with a dash of humor.
