Claire Parsons, born in Luxembourg in 1993, is a Luxembourgish jazz singer and composer of English origin.
After having studied classical and jazz piano, guitar and vocals in Luxembourg she moved to Brussels where she got her bachelors degree in Jazz Vocals at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the supervision of the internationally renowned Belgian jazz singer David Linx and other teachers such as Diederik Wissels and Stéphane Galland.
She plays and composes in various national and international bands such as Claire Parsons // Duo, Claire Parsons ///// Quintet, Tadpole Evolution, Aishinka, Them Lights, De Läb Orchästra.
Her young career allowed her to play on multiple international and national stages and jazz festivals.

Claire Parsons, born in Luxembourg in 1993, is a Luxembourgish jazz singer of English origin. Her interest in music came up at the young age of 5 where she started playing the classical piano at the Conservatory of Luxembourg. Later she studied other instruments such as classical and electrical guitar at the age of 9, jazz piano at the age of 15, classical and jazz vocals at the age of 16.
Her interest in jazz came up in 2008 at the Conservatory of Luxembourg and later in the music school of Echternach. She got her bachelors degree in 2017 in jazz vocals and currently is working on her masters degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the supervision of the internationally renowned Belgian jazz singer David Linx and other teachers such as Diederik Wissels and Stephane Galland. In 2017 she became the vocal jazz/pop teacher of the music school in Differdange and in 2018 she joined the vocal coaching team of the Rockhal’s "Rocklab Sessions."
She plays and composes in various bands such as Claire Parsons & Eran Har Even Duo, Claire Parsons ///// Quintet, Tadpole Evolution, Aishinka and De Läb Orchästra.
In 2018 she got nominated twice at the Luxembourg Music Awards and won the price in the categorie “best upcoming musician.”
She won the "First Prize Albert Michiels" at the B-Jazz International Contest in 2019 and the First Prize of the "Jazz Maastricht Professional Awards" in 2020 with the project Aishinka.
She released her first EP OnOff with the Claire Parsons & Eran Har Even Duo in 2019 and will be releasing her first album with her Quintet in May 2020 under the label Double Moon Records.
