We wanted to remind everyone of some important deadlines quickly approaching for showcase festivals in 2020, which you'll find outlined in our article below.
Sharpe Festival & Conference - Slovakia (INES festival)
SHARPE is a festival & conference showcasing fresh music from Slovakia, Europe and beyond. It will take place on the 24th and 25th of April 2020 in Bratislava at the cultural hub Nová Cvernovka which draws artists from all sorts of backgrounds (design, architecture, film, visual arts, music etc.).

Enea Spring Break - Poland (INES festival)
Enea Spring Break is the biggest and most important showcase festival in Poland from the 23rd to the 25th of April 2020. The goal of the event is to present young bands and artists to influential people from the music industry as well as give those bands an opportunity to perform for audiences craving new music.

Sound City - UK
Sound City is the UK's leading festival and conference for new music. Sound City will take place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of May 2020 in the heart of Liverpool. They’re giving you the opportunity to apply to perform at the 13th edition of Sound City, with the very best of breakthrough acts and major names both from the UK and internationally.

Crossroads Festival - France
The 5th edition of Crossroads is now open for applications! The festival will take place on September 9th, 10th and 11th in Roubaix, France.
The Crossroads Festival was launched in 2016 as a “test edition” enabling them to promote the local modern music scene, while creating a European event, inviting bands from several French regions and from bordering countries such as Belgium and Luxembourg.
In 2019, Crossroads gathered 400 delegates from all over France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Quebec, 60 authorized journalists, 29 artistic projects, 9 panels, speed meetings and workshops, and more than 700 festival-goers!

The Great Escape - UK
The Great Escape welcomes artists from every genre across the globe to apply for a chance to play at the world’s most renowned festival for breaking new talent. You will be performing with the beautiful seaside backdrop of Brighton, where 450+ acts will be filling over 35 venues, making 13th-16th of May 2020 one hell of a weekend and a great opportunity to meet key music industry figures who come to TGE looking for the next big thing.

Live at Heart - Sweden (INES festival)
Live at Heart is an international multi-venue showcase festival taking place in Örebro, Sweden from the 2nd to the 5th of September. Focusing on emerging acts from across the world, in 2019, Live at Heart brought together over 200 artists from 36 different countries, performing on 26 stages.
Last year, bookers from more than 50 festivals were scouting new talents, including delegates from the Golden Melody Festival (Taiwan), Focus Wales (UK), Tjo I Tjögsta (Sweden), Summerfest (USA), ONGEA! (Kenya), PIN (Northern Macedonia), Liverpool Sound City (UK), Sonic Visions (Luxembourg), MMB (Romania), Estragon (Italy), to mention a few...

Reeperbahn Festival - Germany
The Reeperbahn Festival combines a diverse line-up of new, international talents with a programme comprising of a wide range of themes in a progressive music marketplace. Since its debut in 2006, Reeperbahn Festival has become one of the most important meeting places for the world of music and demonstrates how an exuberant music programme can be combined with music industry interests and social initiatives.
